Quality Control Superintendent

In this position he is responsible, among others, for:
• Establishing a reliability and availability baseline of the Plant systems as designed,
• Troubleshooting the plant problems and execute remedial actions,
• Initiating and conducting investigations of reliability problems,
• Submitting project proposals to provide cost beneficial improvements in plant reliability;
• Ensuring that designed environmental technical integrity of the plant Systems and equipment are safeguarded and maintained correctly by periodic and regular inspections, certifications, approvals of repairs and modifications with respect to the environmental envelopes.
1. Assure implementation of QC Legal inspection activities in the Plant according to the systematic plans set within the statutory regulation,
2. Conduct on request inspections,
3. Develop and conduct preventative inspection plans
4. Assist the Technical Director in the administration of the contracts, especially those related to Quality Control,
5. Achieve the division safety goal,
6. Have effective participation in early phases of construction projects involving QC duties to ensure cost effectiveness, proper planning and scheduling and completeness of design for construction
7. Participate, approve selection of bidders and successful contractors,
8. Supervise all QC activities in construction related activities in an effective, safe and high quality manner,
9. Meet customer expectations of internal and external customers,
10. Train and provide advice to subordinates,
11. Provide the Technical Director with timely and accurate information to permit him to anticipate problems and/or opportunities to ensure effective decision making actions.
