Job Description:
The Marketplace Executive (E-Commerce) is responsible for the success of the e-commerce marketplace. His/Her job is to manage the catalogue of airport and travel services, and grow the network of suppliers. The Marketplace Executive is responsible for identifying service providers, negotiating commissions, signing contracts and on-boarding suppliers onto the marketplace. He/She is responsible for fulfillment of service delivery by suppliers and ensuring that customer orders are acknowledged and delivered.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, approach and manage business relationships with suppliers of airport and travel services, worldwide.
- Negotiate supplier commissions, manage contractual processes internally and externally.
- Manage the process of onboarding airport and travel service suppliers onto the online marketplace.
- Manage the E-Commerce Marketplace, administer supplier accounts, add/update supplier products and prices, manage product inventory.
- Ensure successful delivery and fulfillment of services by suppliers.
- Manage and resolve supplier disputes.
- Manage supplier financial settlement processes and payouts.
- Continually evaluate supplier service/product quality and features, evaluate new suppliers / partners that will increase e-commerce profitability.
- Understand and leverage E-Commerce marketplace technologies and become an expert in online marketplace capability and functionality.
- Review supplier product/service financial and non-financial performance.
- Prepare, analyze and present analytical marketplace reports for review by executive management.
- Develop, implement and analyze supplier retention activities that are E-Commerce focused.
- Responsible for on-site merchandising strategies of the e-commerce platform.
