Ensure the operation of the plant, with safety, reliability and according to the operation procedures. Responsible for providing the day to day oversight of department staff, shift operations, maintenance, as well as providing operational, commercial and personnel leadership to the plant shift operating teams to maintain efficient and cost effective operations.
•Ensure reliable start up / shutdown with safety
•Operate the plant according to defined operation strategy and procedures
•Analyze and study the risks, according to the activity to realize and risk assessment before issuing the work permit
•Act as the link between management and the rest of the members of the operating personnel
•Coordinate effectively with different departments, for example HSE and Maintenance
•Ensure proper reporting daily status / activity of the plant
•Decision making responsibility for all O&M related to the Power Plant, equipment, processes, and distribution systems
•Manage equipment, materials and supplies purchasing and inventory
•Supervises and oversees plant shift teams and direct reports
