Student Recruitment Officer-Male (For Qataris Only) - College of the North Atlantic - Qatar

Under the supervision of the Registrar and direction of the Strategic Enrolment Management Committee, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing activities and implementing initiatives in the area of student recruitment. This includes but is not limited to the following responsibilities:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

RECRUITING:

• Assemble a recruitment team for every recruitment initiative and provide the team with effective training and accurate information.
• Provide accurate and timely information about CNA-Q admission requirements, programs, and student life to prospective or potential students, high school administrators, families, and influencers.
• Liaise with the CNA-Q Sponsor Coordinator regarding sponsorships for potential students.
• Liaise with high school administrators to organize suitable recruitment events for their students.
• Meet with high school principals and counselors to market CNA-Q as the primary technical education institution and the number one choice for their students.
• Organize and participate in high school and on-campus visits with key members of the CNA-Q staff
• Organize engaging on-campus educational activities for potential students.
• Communicate with prospective students via e-mail, telephone, text messaging, etc.
• Make presentations to groups of potential students and other stakeholders.


PLANNING

• Work with the Marketing and Communications team to develop an effective and professional communication/media package that promotes CNA-Q to all potential students.
• Serve as an active member on the College Recruitment Committee that reports to the Strategic Enrolment Management Committee.
• Organize and participate in student focus groups and report findings related to student recruitment and retention.
• Maintain and report statistical trends related to student recruitment, and in consultation with the College Recruitment Committee consider adjustments to the Strategic Recruitment Plan.
• Develop relationships with recruitment officers from universities and colleges in Qatar to discuss and possibly collaborate on recruitment strategies.

• REPORTING:

• Prepare the annual Student Recruitment Report for presentation to the SMEC.

• ADMINISTRATION:

• Perform other related administrative tasks as required
