An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced professional to work with one of the leading companies in the Agricultural sector.
We are currently looking for a « Technical Director Expert in Citrus Fruits » to be based in Morocco.
The Technical Director will be responsible for implementing all technical matters within the business and ensuring that all new methods are implemented correctly and best practices carried out to international standards.
The main responsibilities of the successful Technical Director will be:
1) Develop, adapt and maximize the production techniques to international standards.
2) Help develop the exportations abroad.
3) Introduce best practices and methods based on his extensive experience in the field.
4) Develop long term strategies and business plans as the company grows, identifying possible risks from new technology and new markets.
5) Implement new technical systems and ensure that all trainings are carried out effectively to the highest possible standards.
6) Manage the technical department maintaining all equipments throughout the company in order to be operational at all times.
7) Oversee global operations and production.
8) Manage a team of 15 direct reports.
9) Report and liaise with top management team and the board.
This position is a full time job, based in Morocco and will require frequent national and international mobility.
