The Production Manager is responsible for supporting 24/7 MBN operations, establishing and executing a standard operational procedure and work flow structure for ENG cameramen and assistant cameramen.
The primary duties and responsibilities of the Production Manager include, but are not limited to:
- Developing a booking procedure where by crews are made available to all program streams operating out of Alhurra Rabat.
- Developing a tracking database where the use and location of ENG crews are maintained and up-dated on a daily basis. The data base must also contain details of cost and expenditures that are incurred as part of daily production operations.
- Coordinating and liaising with IPD - Springfield, VA - on all production matters concerning ENG crews in Rabat and wider Morocco.
- Supervising and managing the schedule, quality and performance of ENG Cameramen and Assistant Cameramen.
- Liaising with all sections of News, Current Affairs and Programming to assign production facilities to meet their requirements.
