This position is responsible for managing all aspects of BLOOM’s language and cultural training services.   

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES 

 

Leadership & Management 

  1. Oversee all functions and activities of the Language Training department. 
  2. Leading staff by providing training and direction and ensuring company culture and policies are adhered to. 
  3. Manage all staff in the Language Training department.   
  4. Delegate project management duties to staff ensuring clients are managed well and staff are given the appropriate amount of work. 

 

Quality 

  1. Ensure BLOOM is providing the highest quality of service to our clients.  
  2. Maintaining department processes to ensure delivery of quality service. 
  3. Ensure BLOOM’s methodology and approach is adhered to and all staff members and contractors are knowledgeable about BLOOM methodologies. 
  4. Work with staff to ensure information is accurate in all systems and filtered as required to clients. 

 

 

Customer Service 

  1. Serve as main point of contact for key accounts. 
  2. Assist staff in client correspondence when issues arise 
  3. Provide training to staff and others up to 4 hours per week. 
  4. Be available as needed for communicating with clients and handling Language Training needs. Some after-hours business availability will be required.   
  5. Help facilitate contracts with vendors. 

 

 

Finances 

  1. Assist in pricing bids or contracts as needed by sales team. 
  2. Ensure invoicing is handled per company policies. 
  3. Develop and manage department budget. 

 

Strategic Development 

  1. Participate in strategic meetings bringing topics and questions for discussion. 
  2. Forecast hiring needs and work with HR to meet needs. 
  3. Create department milestones and metrics. Ensure milestones are completed and reported in a timely manner.  

  

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS 

Education: Master’s Degree required. 

Experience :Experience working with internationals. Experience in Language Training. Minimum of 2-3 years of progressive management experience. 

 

COMPETENCIES                     

Knowledge of MS Office, Internet, excellent phone skills, management skills.
