IT Manager

Who we are looking for?
Soliya delivers the Connect Program and related facilitation training programs using a synchronous web-based video conferencing platform. We are looking for a stellar IT Manager who will manage the live technical support team for all virtual exchange sessions. The IT manager will also deal with issues of information flow, user experience and feature upgrades or additions to Soliya’s suite of Learning Management Systems. This is a full-time position at Soliya to be based in Tunis, Tunisia . The ideal candidate would have experience with customer driven IT services in a fast paced environment, be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, work well with a diverse international team and be passionate about our mission.
Summary:
The IT Manager is responsible for providing live technical support to Soliya’s programs. Reporting to the Director of Programs, s/he will be responsible for managing and motivating a team of Technical Support Coordinators and for keeping Soliya systems up and running with minimal interruptions.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Train and manage Soliya’s contracted Tech Support team to provide seamless live tech support for Soliya’s program and training sessions
• Work with the program team to develop a tech support schedule for program and training cycles such that all sessions are covered with adequate resource
• Plan and schedule program timelines and milestones using appropriate tools
• Improve productivity of Soliya technical support processes by identifying deficiencies and recommending changes in technology tools, training, processes and reporting
• Work with technology vendors to apply upgrades and bug fixes to Soliya’s Learning Management Systems and Soliya’s Video Conferencing application
• Oversee the integration of new systems and tools into the technical support flow
• Operate and improve Soliya’s database systems for program information needs
• Maintain and upkeep Soliya’s back end office IT systems
