INFRASTRUCTURE & NETWORK ENGINEER
DESCRIPTION: The Infrastructure & Network Engineer is responsible for implementing and managing the data center servers, setting up backups, and performing upgrades. In addition, this position is responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting applications. 
RESPONSIBILITIES
INFRASTRUCTURE
• Restore servers on different hardware.
• Manage antivirus servers, updates and deployment.
• Manage proxy servers and appliances.
• Sets up automatic backups for users on servers.
• Check wellbeing of the servers: system and application logs.
• Download and installs updates and patches for server.
• Troubleshoot server problems with documentation.
• Help development teams troubleshoot problems.
• Back up and restore all servers, and checks wellbeing of backups.
NETWORK
• Perform ad hoc requests (transactions, documents, etc.).
• Deploy testing software, consoles, operating systems and security concepts.
• Manage and monitor the operation and security of all computer hardware and software.
• Maintain proper and efficient operations of the IT Servers and operating systems.
• Support users and establishes an information security awareness training program for employees.
• Maintains existing applications and implements new requirements.
• Maintain computers, work networks, configuring, troubleshooting, and debugging.
• Install and maintains hardware, software, and shared user printers.
• Create new users in directory and email with permissions on required applications.
• Help users and support teams on the phone or remotely to solve problems.
• Install, manage and troubleshoot desktop computers for users.
APPLICATION SUPPORT
• Create new users in directory and email with permissions on required applications.
• Install, maintain, test, and troubleshoot applications.
• Respond to support requests both through working hours and in an on-call rotation.
• Investigate, analyze, and document reported defects.
• Measure and establish trends in performance and operation of the application architecture.
• Contribute in the creation, documentation, and implementation of all unit test plans, scripts, installations, and troubleshooting of products.
• Create and maintain technical documentation using defined technical documentation templates.
• Be passionate about information security when working on and with customer information.
• Ability to troubleshoot performance issues in the web application stack (web, data processing, SQL, etc.)
• Research, collect, and report information on the ability and capacity of company products.
