Sales Lead

Purpose of role:
Drive the sales activity and business development of yeast and bakery ingredients for the bakery segment in North West Africa and provide technical support in the field to our local partners. The role involves frequent travelling and visiting bakeries in North West Africa(excluding Morocco).
Main activities of the role:
Sales responsible for bakery yeast and bread improver based on targets
· Support distributors by promoting and introducing the Company’s products to final customers
· Daily visits to bakeries
· Develop and maintain good relationships with bakeries
· Product demonstrations at bakeries
· Occasionally assist in arranging workshops or present at national exhibitions
· Share customer feedback and market information to the Company
· Ensure suitable records are kept of all customer activity both by individual and direct reporting.
Personal Attributes:
Sales driven
· Proven track record of experience in working with bakery ingredient products.
· Professional knowledge of the principles of the baking process and an ability to demonstrate understanding and appreciation of customer issues and potential problems.
· A comprehensive knowledge of major bakery customers and distributors within designated area.
· Transparent, structured and able to make and provide reports
· The ability to analyse market changes, to recommend and implement the business’ response to such changes.
· To be able to contribute to and work within a team.
· Good command of French and English language skills and preferable Arabic
· Able to travel extensively throughout North Western Africa.
