Charterhouse is working with a global provider of mission critical equipment for vital applications in data centers, communication networks as well as commercial and industrial environments. Our client designs, builds and services critical infrastructure that enables vital applications for data centers, communication networks and commercial and industrial facilities. Our client is looking to hire a Regional Director for North West Africa.
As the RD, you will provide effective sales leadership to deliver required growth in market penetration, orders, revenues and profitability. You will manage, coordinate and optimise the commercial activity within the region, strengthening the client's core business, maximising account penetration, identifying new market opportunities, optimising and orchestrating the various business models whilst always striving to enhance business prestige and high level industry/account relationships within the assigned perimeter. You will be responsible for meeting the agreed sales, orders, price and market share targets as well as provide accurate and regular forecasts. You will manage customer relationships and oversee major accounts in cooperation with regional leadership where required and central functions. You will also coordinate / monitor and approves pricing and commercial negotiations with customers, agents and distributors, in coordination with the central functions/COEs as per agreed authority levels. You will specifically contribute to the company's overall strategic development providing competition and market trends intelligence in the region. In addition, you will work with COEs providing inputs and follow up for portfolio development to best fit the strategic needs of the region. As a fundamental sales person, you will direct and coordinate activities to promote sales and support of products and services, in cooperation with the regional leadership, marketing and the COEs. Overall strategic and long term growth plans will fall under your remit along with the coordination and preparation of sales and business forecasts.
